Our Values

Our Mission Statement:

“The school aims to serve its community by providing education of the highest quality within the context of Christian belief and practice. It encourages an understanding of the meaning and significance of faith, and promotes Christian values through the experience it offers to all of its pupils.”

Our Mission Statement states that Staverton CE Primary School is committed to encouraging an understanding of faith. Within this context, the school teaches respect for other world religions, whilst maintaining Christian values in its ethos and teaching. The school gives high priority to the spiritual development of our children by giving opportunities for reflection and by promoting a sense of curiosity and excitement about the world around us. Staverton values a partnership between school, home and church and encourages everyone to make a positive contribution to the wider community.  Preparing children for future adulthood is a priority.

‘Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it.’

(Proverbs 22:6)

Our Christian Values:

The school community has recently redefined our 12 school values which are brought together under one overriding value, Love.  All values are explicitly focussed upon over a two year period.
