End of year celebrations

On Friday we sent our best wishes and luck to several of the Staverton family who are moving onto pastures new.

Our Year 6 children were given their leavers' Bibles by Reverend Liz a couple of weeks ago at St Mary's, and during our Leavers' Assembly, Mrs Evans gazed into her crystal ball and saw what the future could hold for our Year 6s.

Good luck to Adam, Amber, Alys, Ben, Elodie, Ethan, Georgia, Harrison, Holly, Jasmine, Katie, Mia, Naomi and Olivia in their new schools. We look forward to hearing about your success - come back and visit! Also sadly leaving the school are Chelsey and Zoë, good luck in your new classes!

At the leavers' assembly, we also said goodbye to several members of staff who are moving onto their own new adventures. Mrs Andrews, Mrs Seeney and Mrs Sullivan are all embarking on teacher training courses and we wish them every success in their new careers, we know that they will make fabulous teachers and we will miss them greatly, they have made a fantastic contribution to the school.

We also wish good luck to Mrs Evans, who is moving down the road to become the new Headteacher at Badby, we will miss her greatly and wish her every success at her new school.

At the assembly we also handed out a couple of very significant prizes, the Jubilee Award for outstanding contribution to the school (voted for by the staff) was an extremely close contest; narrowly, no less deservedly won by Georgia. Congratulations Georgia, a very worthy winner.

Congratulations Ruby House

Ruby house were named as the House Champions, having narrowly fought off challenges from Emerald and Sapphire in the last few weeks, house captain Katie collected the trophy which will bear the Ruby ribbons in the Entrance hall next year.
